Lorilin is a Certified Yoglates Instructor, Group Fitness Instructor and personal trainer. Her career in the fitness industry began in 1985 when she took her first high impact aerobics class. Three months later she was asked to teach the class when the instructor didn't show up, and as they say, the rest is history.

Lorilin cheered at both the high school and college levels. Not much has changed since then, only now she defines a "win" as a completed game/meet/match with no torn hamstrings or other issues! At the recommendation of the legendary Coach Gayle Hatch, Lorilin first became involved with the LSU athletic program in 1990. She was charged with the responsibility of training several football players in a private step class, and within a few weeks the athletes met their fitness goals.

Lorilin met and trained with Don Yesso at the original Yoglates studio, and in 2005 they became business partners. Once again, Lorilin found herself in a position to help LSU's athletic department. In an effort to increase the football team's core strength, balance and flexibility, Coach Tommy Moffitt hired Lorilin and Don to teach Yoglates to the team.

Lorilin moved the business to its current flagship location in 2009, and Susan Marchand became her business partner a few months later. In less than a year, this dynamic duo had sold their first franchise to April Hill. Our South studio opened its doors in 2010, and between the two locations we offer as many as 60 different classes every week.

Lorilin and Susan continue to work with LSU athletes 2-3 times per week, providing core rehabilitative training. It isn't uncommon to see college and professional athletes in the studio during their off season.

Lorilin is from Baton Rouge by way of Beaumont, Texas. She graduated from LSU and obtained her Paralegal Certification from the National Center for Paralegal Training in Atlanta, Georgia. She and her husband, John, have three grown children and are active members of the Baton Rouge community.
