Lorilin is a Certified Yoglates Instructor, Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, whose professional career began in 1985. When the fitness instructor failed to show up for a class that Lorilin had attended, she was asked to step in and teach, and as they say, the rest is history. Lorilin cheered at both the high school and college levels, and not much has changed since then. These days, however, she defines a “win” as a completed game/ meet/match with no torn hamstrings or injuries! At the recommendation of the legendary Coach Gayle Hatch, Lorilin first became involved with the LSU athletic program in 1990. She was charged with the responsibility of training several football players in a private step class, and within a few weeks the athletes met their fitness goals. As co-owner of the original Yoglates studio, Lorilin was hired by Coach Tommy Moffitt to help increase the football team’s core strength, balance and flexibility. In 2009, Lorilin moved the business to its current flagship location and Susan Marchand became her business partner a few months later. In less than a year, this dynamic duo had sold their first license to April Hill. Yoglates II South opened its doors in 2010. Lorilin is from Baton Rouge by way of Beaumont, Texas. She graduated from LSU and obtained her Paralegal Certification from the National Center for Paralegal Training in Atlanta, Ga. She and her husband, John, have three grown children and are active members of the Baton Rouge community.
